The sustainable greenhouse model was grounded upon a selection of technological innovations helping all together to improve the sustainability of environment, the productivity and competitiveness for greenhouse crop productions. The proposed technologies applications were:

defrosting irrigation system rationalisation with utilisation of a thermic screen
minimum soil tillage
utilisation of organic matter (compost) mixed to the soil
utilisation of zeolites mixed to the soil
utilisation of fungi (mycorrhiza association)
new irrigation systems (precision systems)
new fertilizing (nitrogen nutrition) systems (precision systems)
